Community Initiatives
Community Initiative refers to a category of community members distinct from regular gamers who simply play the game. These members help new gamers settle into our Supervillain Ecosystem - as taking the key role inside this Community Fund operations.
Decentralized Live Ops
Community Moderators Moderators work closely with the SVL team, gaining early access to development updates and disseminating this information in their local languages to their respective language communities. In addition to facilitating communication among community users in their language, they also help improve the quality of in-game language. We do not intend to limit moderators to simple Q&A roles within the community. Instead, our goal is for them to host various events within their language sub-communities and serve as central figures that strengthen these communities.
Their regular rewards and the execution of community event budgets will also be based on the Community Fund in the future. The aim is for community members (especially those in the respective language communities) to provide feedback on moderators' activities, fostering a more interactive community.
Customer Service / Community Helpers Though the term "Customer Service" may sound grandiose, the process of asking and answering questions within the community greatly contributes to its vibrant operation. This interaction can also help retain new community members.
We plan to introduce a system where community members earn points by answering questions posted by new or existing members (starting with activities on Discord). These dedicated community members will be rewarded from the Community Fund reserve, with monthly allocations being implemented gradually.
Loyal Players
Top-tier Players We plan to run a reward pool for top-tier players who actively participate in various seasonal competitive content. This will include operating diverse in-game leaderboard content and providing rewards to these dedicated gamers. The first of these will be the Sidekick Racing content, which will be held weekly throughout August. (For more details, refer to the Operations section.)
Major In-game Guilds (TBD) When in-game guild and community content is updated, we plan to allocate a reward pool to the top guild community operators. Guild masters can use this budget to host events for guild members, attract new guild members, or reward existing guild members.
Initially, this will be implemented with the guild content update for the Supervillain Wanted game, and we will gradually enhance and operate it in the same manner for Project ARK.
Collection Holders (SuperV Collections) We plan to offer special/seasonal benefits to those who hold various collections we have issued (starting with SuperV) through regular Raffle Events. Depending on the timing, specific collections may be designated for events, and factors such as the rarity and quantity of NFTs held will matter.
Partners / Marketing Supporters (Influencers / KOLs / Content Creators)
We are also considering running a reward pool for various marketing initiatives that help attract gamers and promote our game to the outside world. We plan to provide weighted incentives based on the in-game actions of people brought in through these campaigns, and allocate marketing budgets to reward these community members based on these metrics.
However, one of the most important aspects is community DAO activities. It is crucial for community members to collectively evaluate the effectiveness of each initiative and participate in decision-making through voting. To support this, we plan to establish a voting system. While game development must remain centralized, our goal is to create a community-based decentralized autonomy for live operations and community operations, prioritizing the gamers.
